Campaign for Christ — San Augustine, TX

October 3 - 8, 2026

The San Augustine Campaign for Christ brought together FTP team members, volunteers, preachers, and local congregations for a powerful week of evangelism, outreach, and spiritual encouragement. Through preaching, Bible studies, personal invitations, and community outreach, the campaign resulted in 10 baptisms, 50 restorations, and 5 rededications—a total of 65 responses to the Gospel.

The campaign was a collaborative effort involving the Market Street and Sunset congregations, FTP volunteers, and supporters who contributed their time, resources, hospitality, and prayers. These results represent more than numbers; they reflect lives touched, Christians renewed, and souls responding to the Word of God. The work continues, and all glory belongs to God.

LIVES CHANGED

Sixty-five responses to the Gospel! Ten souls were baptized, 50 Christians were restored, and five rededicated their lives to the Lord. The campaign provided a meaningful opportunity to share God’s Word, encourage spiritual growth, and strengthen both congregations.

A COMMUNITY UNITED IN SERVICE

FTP team members, volunteers, preachers, and supporters worked together in service to the Lord. Through evangelism, Bible studies, hospitality, meal preparation, housing, financial contributions, and faithful prayer, each person played a valuable role in making the campaign a success.

THANK YOU, MARKET STREET AND SUNSET CONGREGATIONS

Special appreciation goes to the Market Street and Sunset congregations, along with every FTP team member, volunteer, preacher, and supporter who helped make this campaign possible. From those who traveled and participated in outreach to those who provided meals, accommodations, financial support, and prayers, every contribution helped advance the work of the Gospel.

THE WORK WILL CONTINUE

The campaign may be over, but the mission is not finished. FTP looks forward to the next local gospel meeting in Hemphill, Texas, November 15–20, 2026, hosted by the Thomas Johnson and Hemphill congregations. A full FTP Campaign for Christ is also being planned for Hemphill in Spring 2027, with dates to be announced.

The commitment remains the same: to continue teaching God’s Word, reaching souls, restoring Christians, and strengthening congregations.

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)

We planted. We watered. God gave the increase—and to Him belongs all the glory!

Stay with the Book. Stay with the Cross. Save Souls.

"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

(Romans 10:14-15)

FTP is under the oversight of Longmire church of Christ Eldership in Conroe Texas.
